Herbal medicine can be described as the art and science of using plant remedies both for healing and for maintaining good health. Herbal medicine is one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world and every culture has a history of using herbs for healing. Scientific research is now confirming many ancient beliefs about the healing properties of plants.
It can support patients through chemotherapy and radio therapy and raise the body's resistance to chemical stress. Medical herbalists are trained to avoid prescribing herbs with specific contra-indications or known interactions.
Homeopathy is a 200 year old medical system, tried and proven throughout the world. It works on the principle of like cures like, a way of stimulating our own healing energies. It uses specially diluted and shaken microdoses of substance, whose symptom picture has been studied from provings on healthy humans.
Remedies are selected which suit the mental, emotional and physical needs of each individual.

Meditation is a way of creating a balance between the mind and the body, the physical and the spiritual, with the intention of generating increased serenity.
It can take many forms - silent concentration, chanting, even walking. When the mind is focussed and the distracting thoughts become still, an alert yet relaxed state of mind ensues and in this heightened state of attention, clarity may follow with insight and awareness around specific concerns.
The real benefits of meditation are felt with regular daily or twice
daily practise.
The Metamorphic Technique is a tool for change and transformation. It is a very simple technique, accessible to all. It does not involve the treatment of symptoms, but provides an opportunity for the life force within each person receiving a session to transform from within. The practice empowers the individual to let go of old patterns of being thus releasing their potential for creative growth.
What are the practicalities of a session?
The Practitioner will sit at right angles to you and touch lightly the
spinal reflexes of each foot then later the hands and head, which correspond
to the time before birth when we established all our characteristics.
Initial sessions last up to an hour and the Practitioner does not need to
know about your background or case history.
What does the Practitioner do?
The Practitioner essentially does nothing! It is the power of life within
the person coming to a session that does the necessary work.
Is the Metamorphic Technique different from Reflexology?
Yes it is. The Metamorphic Technique does not involve the treatment of
symptoms, the touch is light focussing only on the spinal reflex at the side
of the feet, hands and head. The attitude of the Practitioner is one of
non-interference and detachment, they are not attempting to help, heal or
cure a person of anything.
What can I expect after a session?
Each individual is unique in their process of transformation. Sometimes
people notice immediate physical or emotional changes. Sometimes these
changes are more subtle and involve things like a new diet, a change in work
environment, an appropriate physical exercise or the right therapeutic
intervention. Suitable for all, the Metamorphic Technique is a safe and
gentle opportunity for self-transformation.
